Free Missed Lead Audit

Every termite customer is a likely booking every year, if you remember to ask.

The intervals

  • Regular inspections: no more than 12 months apart.
  • Special inspections during active termite control: no more than 6 months apart.
  • Monitoring system services: no more than 3 months apart.

The paperwork

  • Keep the Termite Management Plan separate from the quote.
  • Update the durable notice in the meter box.
  • Keep inspection records for at least 3 years. AEPMA suggests 10.
  • Keep installation certificates for 10 years.

As summarised in AEPMA’s notes on AS 3660.2:2017. This is a summary, not the standard itself. Always check the current standard and your state’s rules.

Why it matters for your business

A missed re-inspection is lost revenue, and a liability risk if termites get in.

The fix is simple: record the last inspection date for every property, then remind the customer at 10 and 11 months with a link to book. Follow up yourself if they have not booked by 11 and a half months.

Do that for every termite property and your quiet months get easier to fill.
