You are in a roof void when the phone rings. By the time you climb down, that caller has rung the next pest controller on Google.
The numbers
- 85% of callers who do not reach someone do not call back.
- Leads contacted within 5 minutes convert at about 8 times the rate of leads contacted at 30 minutes.

What to do about it
- Text back every missed call within 60 seconds. A quick “Sorry we missed you, we are on a job” keeps the caller with you.
- Ask two questions. What pest, and is it a house, unit or business? That is enough to quote or book.
- Send a booking link. Let them pick a time without waiting for you.
- Reply to web forms within 60 seconds too. Even after hours, a quick reply beats a call back tomorrow.
The quick test
Call your own number after hours and fill in your own web form. How long until you get a reply?
If the answer is “tomorrow”, some of those callers may have booked someone else by then. Our free Missed Lead Audit measures exactly this.
